1. These Terms

These Terms govern your use of the Mugen Masters Android game, website and related online services (“Mugen Masters” or the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

Mugen Masters is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age at which you can agree to online services in your country, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you. You must provide accurate account information and comply with applicable law.

3. Health, fitness and outdoor safety

Mugen Masters is a fitness-themed game, not a medical device, healthcare service or source of medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is suitable for you. Exercise within your ability, use appropriate equipment, warm up, stop if you feel pain, dizziness, faintness or unusual discomfort, and seek professional advice where appropriate.

During outdoor activities, remain aware of traffic, weather, terrain, other people and your surroundings. Do not enter private property, restricted areas, roads, unsafe locations or any place you would not otherwise visit safely and lawfully. Do not interact with the game while driving or operating machinery. Game events and territory do not grant any right to enter or remain on physical property.

4. Accounts and security

Some online features require a Google or email/password account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity carried out through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. One person must not use multiple accounts to manipulate rewards, rankings, matchmaking, clans or other systems.

5. Fair play and acceptable use

You must not:

• cheat, automate play, spoof fitness or location data, manipulate workout entries, exploit bugs or interfere with reward, purchase, ad, PvP or clan systems;
• reverse engineer, attack, overload, probe or bypass the Service, security rules, App Check, Play Integrity or access controls except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• use another person’s account, impersonate another person or submit misleading reports;
• use abusive, hateful, threatening, sexual, obscene, discriminatory, illegal or privacy-invasive player, clan or pet names, tags or profile content; or
• use the Service commercially, sell accounts or virtual items, or transfer game access without our written permission.

We may investigate suspected abuse, correct affected progress or transactions, remove or rename content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, and preserve relevant security evidence.

6. Public profiles, clans and quick chat

Selected profile, clan, leaderboard, matchmaking and PvP information is visible to other players. Use a game name rather than personal contact information. Mugen Masters currently limits player messaging to preset quick-chat choices. Public names and profiles may be reported and reviewed. Clan leaders are responsible for using moderation and membership controls fairly.

7. Virtual items, currencies and rewards

Game currencies, items, pets, equipment, cosmetics, rewards and other virtual content are licensed features of the Service. They have no cash value, are not property, cannot be exchanged for money and may not be sold or transferred. We may correct balances affected by errors, fraud or exploits and may reasonably rebalance, replace or retire virtual content as the game evolves.

8. Purchases and rewarded ads

Optional purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play’s terms and payment rules. Prices and included content are shown before purchase. Your mandatory consumer rights, including any rights to refunds for faulty or misdescribed digital content, are not affected. Deleting your account removes associated game progress and virtual items and does not itself create a refund request.

Rewarded ads are optional. A reward is granted only when the ad provider and our server confirm successful completion. Ads, rewards and availability may vary by region, device, consent choice and inventory.

9. Ownership and licence

Mugen Masters and its software, artwork, characters, text, audio, game systems and branding are owned by or licensed to Mugen Masters and are protected by intellectual-property law. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the Service for non-commercial entertainment in accordance with these Terms.

10. Updates, testing and availability

We may update, rebalance, add, remove or temporarily disable features, content, rewards, economies, events or online services for development, security, legal, maintenance or gameplay reasons. Test and pre-release versions may contain defects and may require progress adjustments or resets. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability, but this does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Third-party services

The Service uses third parties including Google Play, Firebase, AdMob, Health Connect, Mapbox and Cloudflare. Their own terms and policies apply to the services they provide. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

12. Suspension, termination and deletion

You may stop using Mugen Masters at any time and can delete your account using the in-game Account menu or our Data Deletion page. We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary for serious or repeated breach, fraud, cheating, security risk, legal compliance or protection of other players. Where appropriate, we may give notice or an opportunity to appeal by contacting support.

13. Responsibility and liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your mandatory consumer rights.

Subject to that, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss caused by your unsafe activity, breach of these Terms, inaccurate device or fitness data, third-party systems outside our reasonable control, or events we could not reasonably avoid. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use, so we are not responsible for business losses.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available under the law of the country where you live.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, security or business practices. We will change the date above and give reasonable additional notice where a change materially affects your rights. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means the updated Terms apply; if you do not agree, you may stop using and delete your account.
